All of them... socially!
People follow them, that is traffic. Traffic is ultimately what you are after...
So what if it does not pass PR, it's passing traffic.

I disagree with you: if your post is not interesting - you will haven't traffic.
But if social site is SEO friendly, you can win some TrustRank or PR for your site, and increase your ranking in SERP.;)

What good is SERP if your page isn't worth reading? And if you are using do-follow social networking just to increase page rank, then that kind of takes the TRUST out of TRUSTrank don't it?
If you socially bookmark something, it should be worthy of being socially bookmarked. If it's not, then nofollow or dofollow, you are a spammer.

Also there is a chance of you being wrong because, even though there is no nofollow tag at the link place, but if the site is using a robot.txt file for making the links nofollow then also we dont get our links indexed, right?

You should have checked the robots.txt of digg before you said that.
User-agent: * Disallow: /search Disallow: /submit Disallow: /login User-agent: Referrer Karma/2.0 Disallow: /
But your point is right. They can use a nofollow in their robots.txt to stop google from following your links. But in that case they will be blocking their own links as well. ;)
