Forrest Gump In the land of China, people hardly got nothing at all.

John Lennon (Joe Stefanelli) No possessions?

Forrest Gump And in China they never go to church.

John Lennon No religion too?

Dick Cavett Ah. Hard to imagine.

John Lennon Well, it's easy if you try, Dick.

I remember watching this in the theatre and (having come out of a bad relationship) when Forest was getting married to Jeni, I yelled out "RUN FOREST RUN!" at the top of my lungs. I never heard so many people laugh at once!

I didn't really like it. Am I allowed to say that? Mysterious government agents in nondescript black suits may haul me off tonight....

They must have some misunderstanding of China. I think. :)

China has a large change in the past 20 years. If they go to visit China again, they will be deeply impressed with the change.

I saw it at the cinema when it first came out and thought it was ok,
maybe a bit long and rambling.
But since then I've seen it twice on tv and only meant to watch a few minutes,
then a few more minutes. It just drew me in and before I knew it the movie was over.
Excellent on the small screen IMO.

Thats so much on my mind as well. Although normally sequels suck big time, but for a movie like this, i think it would be awesome.
