Need Help with Wordpress - What Plugins are Good?

Okay, so I'm trying to switch my blog DatMoney.com (http://www.datmoney.com) over to Wordpress and I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing this. I think I have an idea but I'm hesitate on doing it.

Also, what plugins are good for my site? Are there any particular ones you guys like? Anything I should know?

Any help with the switch over would be greatly appreciated!

I see you are hosted with GoDaddy. Are you using a Windows or Linux platform? The reason I ask-- currently WordPress is only supported on a Linux/Unix platform and MySQL and PHP must be supported. Once these conditions are in order, it is a simple matter of importing your blogger blog to WordPress.

I use GODaddy as a registrar but their hosting sucks.
If you have a busy active blog you are going to experience some problems. I strongly suggest that you switch hosts

I'm planning on switching to Lunarpages as my hosting service so I should be able to easily import my blogger stuff to Wordpress, right? And after I transfer everything over, what happens with my blogger blog? Do I just delete it or something?

And I heard they don't transfer images over... but then someone told me that there's a plugin which will transfer it over as well...

Oh, and thanks for taking the time out to help me out with this... I'm obviously a newbie when it comes to Wordpress...

I don't know of a simple way of doing it like a script. Here (http://underscorebleach.net/jotsheet/2006/05/move-blogger-to-wordpress) is a helpful guide I found by searching around on google on transferring your blog in blogger over to wordpress.
