The content was a bit bland, bit 'seen it all before'. To avoid the site being a me-too you need to find your own angle and come up with your own flavour. I didn't really get a sense of who you are or the types of guys you were talking to.

Maybe you could get some attractive logo or header to make your website more lively. You might also want to consider putting in some photos or pictures as well. You may even want to consider putting in chatbox or e-polling features to better engage your readers...
