I would suggest spending the 199$ on something that will get you more backlinks.

But thats a very trusted directory. I think its basically like Dmoz or the Yahoo Directory.

i think it's better to spend your money to other sites. 199$ is a big money

To be perfectly honest i have tried to get alisting there on more than 1 occasion. Afte rpsending about an hour lookin for the bestcategory (they are sh1t on that site) i submitted and the pyemnt would not go through.

If you dont have an american express and your from outside the US then youll have trouble paying.

They where very helpful when they found out that i couldnt pay but simply saying that there where problems with the listing didnt get me any interest from them

Spend 200 Dollars on other directories.

I have domain on Yahoo directory.. Its worth $299..But it didn't bring anything for me..Either traffic or backlink..So i think its same like business.com. It waste your money..Better use the money for other directory submission..

Yahoo! directory offers more value than business.com IMO. Yahoo! directory actually means a listing in numerous regional (national) versions of the directory - tons of links. It's also respected by Google as an authority IMO.

I used to have listings in business.com, but I stopped when they dropped their multi-link feature (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=558378). I don't think business.com is worth it. YMMV.

I got a listing in business.com a month before Google started "hitting" directories. I track all my traffic and find that my business.com listing is worthless. I definitely won't be paying them US$199 this year. IMHO, the weight Google gave Yahoo and other so-called "authority" directories has also come down after the directory "crackdown." I got listed in BOTW and a few other "famous" directories just before the "crackdown" and find that all the money has gone down the drain.

I kind of share that opinion. I'm in Yahoo directory and I'm afraid to stop paying the annual fee, because I don't know what the repercussions would be if I did. I have a few decent SERP listings with the site that's listed.
