I like it. I've always been a sucker for white text on a dark background.

Is the white space at the top left of the page intentional? It seems like its a bit wasted to me.

maybe you can move the title and description up there, then add search box below it...

Your archive list on the left doesn't look like a list, it looks like content. I would work on reducing its size in number of items, and work on reducing the size of your titles. Many of them are wrapping.

my first impression of the blog was the nice header . I think there's too much text, with your articles you have to put an image everytime , because there's too much text. With one image per article you'll see it will be bether .
