Hello,
I would like to start a social network on my domain name, I-Sew.com.
I want to be able to give out @i-sew.com emails and blank.i-sew.com subdomains. I also want my users to be able to blog, add photos and possibly list items for sale either in a store format or classifieds.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Rich

Social Engine seems like a very solid platform. They have a free demo you can downoad, install and try out for a while. You can also demo the product on their site. The basics cost around $250 (i think) and you can add different components such as galleries, etc. for $50 ea.

Social Engine does look great. I just wish they had a paid subscription feature.

Yeah me too. It's a bit to much for me now. I just want something cheap for now to see how well it will do.
I actually added Google Sites to the domain name, which allows me to give away free @i-sew.com emails. And the Google apps. is free. I just published it last night, I'm gonna be testing it and see what I can do and it it will work. There not much that's better than free. . :)
You can see it here: http://www.I-sew.com
I am still looking for an actuall social site script, cheap.
Thanks,
GG

I wish I could recommend Boonex Dolphin but I still read half-negative comments about it. It does look cool, at least. And it's free :)
