Selling a Directory?

I just sold my directory but what do I give the buyer? All the files? and my username and pass? or is there a different way to do it.

aiight thanks guys, but I leave the user name the same, right? Like theres no way to change that?

either edit the db or when reinstalling I believe it will ask the buyer to put the admin username.

I've always just made a new admin account, either way, just change the pass

and you'll tranfer

all the files
the database
and push the domain
also, if it's a paid script like from phpld, then you can pm David and have the license transfered as well

Having said that - let's say they don't keep the paid links active...can the site owners who purchased paid links submit a "dispute" with paypal against the original owner after ownership has changed hands?

And if so - would the dispute hold up?

If they paid for a listing, and that was removed then they are in their own right to dispute. However there is no point starting a dispute with someone who no longer owns a site. Legal action would be a waste of time as its only a directory link. Finding a trusted guy to buy your site is the best action a seller can take.

All links were free links. The only featured links I had were ones that I given out for free.

Also, How do I change the username for the directory? Also, does the person have to register with www.phplinkdirectory.com and then I PM david to give the license to the person who registered?

In your directory admin panel go to settings > edit users. Edit your user account and change the password.

Join the forums and PM david your phpLD account username and the new owners username. He'll make the switch.
