Is there any real value in opening a Yahoo sponsered search account instead of a Google adwords account? I have a limited budget and want to make the most of my money.

check this Google adwords vs YSM vs Microsoft adCenter (http://probloggerpages.com/2007/12/28/search-marketing%e2%80%a6great-way-to-drive-traffic/)

try adCenter, they charge just $5 for sign up. check my sign for FREE $75 coupon.

I think it depends on your niche and you will have to try both to see which converts the best.

I am very new ad words and PPC, I'm wondering does it really work?

I'm also thinking of adding my site to the Yahoo Directory, any thoughts?

Thanks,

Hey, any Ohioans out there?
The sun is out today, maybe we can all get shoveled out, lol.

Don't mind me, I have not went to sleep yet, darn social bookmarking is a never ending job!

I think that if you're using PPC ads, then you should have a Yahoo account.

Google accounts for about 40% of all searches. Yahoo comes in 2nd with about 30% of all searches. Not only that, but with Yahoo, your ads can be shown on a long list of other very profitable websites as well.

I have also found that Yahoo is usually a little bit cheaper for the same keyword than Google.

If you're looking to sign up, you can follow the link in my sig for $25 free.
