I have a fairly large Excel file that I use a ton and want to make it available to some of my customers on the web.
I've tried the 'save as web page' thing. But apparently, from what I can gather, that requires: 1) Internet Explorer (thus limiting my audience), and 2) MS Office Components on the server.
...and when I did save it that way it blew up to 20MB. (The original file is 5MB.)
The spreadsheet has evolved over a long time and has some fairly complex functions. Tons of formulas and lookups, etc. And I have a buddy who updates it from time to time with tweaks...so it's not something that I want to recreate or recode in any web language.
I'd love some kind of tool that you push a button and out comes a few pages that you upload and that's it. I'm sure I can't be the first person to want to do this. I searched google and came up with a whole bunch of useless suggestions.
So now I'm turning to the experts! :)
EDIT: I would want users to be able to enter values in certain cells and have other cells reflect the new calculations.
Any suggestions?
