I actually own a a few domains that I have planned to heavily market to sell writers services ... we all may want to JV on this

We own hundreds of article directories and could sell the services on all of them for people looking for writers.. I will promote you write..

I own over 500 domains with traffic on them that are related to people that might need writes - I

NOTE I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL NOTHING JUST OFFERING AN IDEA TO JV WITH OTHERS WITH TO ALL EARN FROM
The domains I have purchased to use as sales pages for selling articles and writing services from are: (note what is on the site now is just to index)
ArticleBrokers.com
5Dolllararticles.com
ArticleDeals.com
ArticleGeeks.com
ArticleGeni.com
ArticleInaBox.com

I think webmaster buy/sell/trade forums - especially DP - are the best places to seek work.

Have you signed up with RentaCoder and eLance? I have looked for and hired writers on both sites.

Which one is the best RentaCoder OR eLance?

I'm an editor over with Suite101.com, and I know myself and some of my colleagues are still hiring writers. :) The pay is very low in the beginning though, because it's a pageview rate scale, but for those willing to stick with it, it builds a lot over time (speaking from experience, as I wrote under a similar system with About.com), and you continue earning on all of your old articles.

You could also apply with About.com - they seem to be looking for a lot right now. Another network is AllInfoAbout.com (I currently run 2 sites with them, and will soon be starting a third). They don't pay, but you control most of the ad space and can monetize it in any way you want - and you get crawled pretty often and great inter-linking between the network sites (all on their own domains). Just some examples of how to monetize ... you can have paid job postings, sell a book you've written (or ebook, software, etc.), use affiliates and/or google and similar services, etc.

Those are the big networks that I'm aware of, but I'm sure there are lots of smaller sites as well. Your best bet is to pay a few dollars to get access to writersmarket.com for at least a month. You can find smaller sites and print publications, their guidelines, and what they pay. :)

I'm interested in other forums, if anyone cares to list them.

I love DP and Warriors.

Thanks,

Charisse

Check www.absolutewrite.com in the paying markets area if you specifically want to find forums. And do a search for freelance writing forums. There are quite a few out there, and many have gig postings, and they can be a better place as far as pay levels versus what you'll mostly find in webmaster forums. :)
