Logo contest $25 ends in 3days

This is a new project I am working on. It is a social network for rollerbladers. The site name, "rollerconnection", should be one word with different blue colors for each word. See current logo on the site. I would like the logo to symbolize connecting/bringing together, maybe two arrows coming together or something. Use orange/red or any other bright color to make the logo pop. Background should be transparent or white, but I prefer transparent. Psd and vector's are need incase I need to resize the logo for any reason.

If I really like multiple designs there could be a 2nd and/or 3rd place.
1st - $25
2nd & 3rd - $15ea

Sorry guys. I should have also mentioned, i'd like the wording "rollerconnection" to be all lower case and one word. And would prefer the wording to be the light/dark blue. Again, sorry, I could have worded it better.


shadylady- a bit too simple.

wake v1- not digging the shadows or the font.

naidz- nice concept but try not having the arrows apart of the text.

wake v2- not really the style i'm looking for.

xfactorlogo- thats more along the lines of what i'm looking for. can you try with the text "rollerconnection" and the graphic above it thicker? ie. more boldish.

xfactor- do mind trying the following. replace the O's in connection with wheels. see link below for an idea but please do not copy the graphics off the wheel pictures. i'm interested to see if having wheels for the o's will bring "rollerblading" visually into the logo. but i'm not sure if it will fit with the style of the logo.

shadylady- the wheel idea didn't turn out like i thought it might.

cnsgd- too simple

shadylady- not the style i'm looking for.

rkquest- like the idea but try not lightening the upper section rollerconnection.

naldz- not digging the larger letters. i'd like for them to be all lower case.

brahman- numbering from top to bottom.
#1 - make it the same size as #3. remove the arrows. create new arrows that connect (--><--). something kinda like that. with them thicker and behind the text.
#2 - try the orange circle from #4 inplace of the blue. remove the horizontal arrow from above rollerconnection.

anidesign- #1 & #2- try it with a white/transparent background. with the graphic to the left of the text.
#1- all lower case
#2- thicker text

A couple of the designs so far have been, um not so much elementary, but would be more geared towards "younger" kids. Please keep in mind the age demographic will be 13-27 and if your not 100% sure what type of rollerblading the people on this site do. See video below. :)

#2 Try bringing the graphic on the left down to be centered with the text. horizontally centered with the text. does that make sense? and add a bit more reflection as you cant really see the reflection of "connection".

However, if you don't settle on my design, I'm afraid I can't provide any revisions as there is no guarantee that my entry will be picked, and frankly I don't have that much time to work on 25 dollar contest for more thank three hours.
