google's indexing of my site is confusing me.. Help...

If I tpye in site:www.mysite.com, it shows that google has indexed like 5 of my pages, including the homepage.

But If I just type in my homepage url, nothing comes up.

So is my homepage indexed or not?

Check those 5 pages indexed in google see wether your home page is there or not ? that maybe www.ursite.com or www.ursite.com/index.html.
