Why are my domains still PR0?

I've been promoting two new sites for the last few weeks:

http://www.playedonline.com
http://www.recipesforum.com

Both are on different servers, and have been promoted differently. I haven't done any blackhat SEO stuff.

Both have a lot of backlinks on MSN, but none on Google.

Both are however, indexed at Google (not fully).

I'm guessing the fact that no backlinks show on google is the same reason they have no PR. But why? Any ideas?

The sites do get traffic from google, so I'm not exactly containing. It just seems like everybody and their grandmother got PR after the last update.

You missed that last update. Give it another 2-3 months.

Hmm, weird that I did - because I've seen some sites that were created after mine - and also I've had pages indexed for more than two weeks.
