You have a great template there and yes i agree with kanwarjot the header is too big. In addition to the top navigation and the adsense it covers the whole screen and i cant know what the site is about , i have to scroll down the whole way to know what is it about , so you need to reduce the height of the header to convert more visitors.

The number of votes is not centered. If you love the logo, and won't do a way with it, then I would move the content below to another page.

The number of votes is barely off...so not a big deal really. I do like the logo and color scheme...but I may consider changing it since so many people seem to not like it :(

Hi -

Just a couple of comments - love the black background that's striped above the logo - can you do that on the margins too?

The black background on the page where there is content is too difficult to read. You may really like it but research says people won't return as often and conversions are lower.

Header is WAY too big but really nice - like the colors and the concept - bring it up so there isn't the black stripe above the logo - make the logo no more than 200 pixels deep and put the black stripes along the margins. Change the color of the content area to something lighter with dark text.

Not really sure what you mean by "upcoming News" because there isn't content there. In my feeble mind I wouldn't know how you could know what the upcoming news would be cause it hadn't happened yet :) It may be that I'm just not getting it or that you know exactly what you mean but haven't gotten the point across. Or maybe it's just all obvious once there is more content on the site.

Though I love the "pop" your header has, I agree with others that it needs to be shorter. You want the most important information - i.e. what's important to your reader, not you - above the fold. I also agree the white on black has to go. As far as design goes, it looks nice, but it's all about your readers and making things better for them. It's just too hard on the eyes.

Good job, I bookmarked your site. Nice favicon too!
