Google Adwords VAT

Hi guys,
I wanted to ask other European PPC Advertisers if they do pay VAT too? I live in Malta and I am being charged VAT AT 19.5%(Ireland's rate), I would like to find a way on how to stop paying VAT. Can anyone help pls?

I take it you didn't enter your own VAT number, as I believe the tax charge defaults to Ireland's VAT if you haven't entered your own information.
