Problems downloading accounts into Adwords editor

Hi there,

Hope someone can help me, I've done a forum search but can't find anything so hopefully someone can help.

I'm trying to download accounts into Adwords editor from a MCC. One account has 8 sub-accounts in it. I've managed to download 3 of the accounts however whenever I try to download any of the others the same thing happens - I click 'add account', select the mcc e-mail address and are then presented with the list of the 8 accounts, then when I select the one I want and click 'open' the open box goes grey for a couple of seconds then back to being selectable (as opposed to beginning to download the account).

Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Hello,

I've not had this problem before, but I have had other account problems in Adwords Editor. Before now I've deleted the following file...

C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Adwords Editor\Profiles\ape.db

It's only a small file but it will clear the accounts you currently have and try downloading them again. Sometimes this file has got corrupted for me.

I wouldn't go deleting too many more though. If it all goes wrong you can just install it again however.

it sounds like you're trying to do something that adwords editor isn't really built to do. I would just download the accounts that you want to work on individually, seeing that you will only be able to work on one account at a time anyway.
