Received Infraction titled "Private" Someone care to explain

Received Infraction titled "Private" Someone care to explain to me how listing it as private so I can't see the thread or post is helpful in letting me learn from what the mistake was?? Seems to me like it is pointless unless you show the user what the mistake was.

A private infraction just means the post or thread for which infraction was deleted due to some violation. In this case you hijacked another member's thread and hijack removed.
