conversion tracking code in landing page?

I put the conversion tracking code in my landing page. The day after, my adwords stas show numbers of conversion.

What is the conversion means? Is it number of visitor who click banner in my landing page or affliate sales conversion:confused:?

Firstly, converison code must not be placed in landing page, it must be placed in the thank you page.

This means you must place conversion on page which is served after the completion of conversion(sales)

since you placed it in landing page then conversion is clicks for you

yeah place it on the page the server sends them to after they signup for your offer or purchase your product. It should not be on the landing page.

Conversion can be number of things, such as sale, registering for opt-in, etc.

You can only put conversion tracking code on your website or ask a publisher to put it on his website, if you are promoting his product.
