I was looking, still looking, for food related sites to add to my food directory.
On google's page, here is an adwords ad:
Food
We've Found the Top 4 Sites about
Food
Best4Sites.net
Now when you to to that site, not a damn thing on it except adsense!
I wonder how much is spent on adwords to get visitors to go to the site and click on adsense to create income?
If I knew it was worth it, I would do that same! LOL

They can't be going for returning visitors given there's zero content. I don't see the point in sites like this.
No search results except google ads for any term I tried.

It's one of those, toss up 1000 sites like it, give it a year, and wait for Google to index it and some poor schmuck who has never heard of Adsense come by and click on it. It works, or else you wouldn't see a million copies like it. Unfortunately. :(

This is a dark and shady webmastering technique that I personally hate.

:( there were even google ads for "jhdfd" (as a search term) as it just used the footer as "content"... ridiculous. This guy/girl needs to choke on the TOS.

I am curious, is this moron [the Rich Jerk] banned from adsense then spat his dummy [pacifier] and handed out bad advice hoping to get others banned?

There are a lot of websites, and people, who are selling systems, software, ebooks, etc that are just for building hundreds of websites for adsense.
Same with blogs!
Figure if 1 person a day gets one of these systems and builds just 100 spammy blogs or websites, then in a month you have a minimum of 3000 new spammy blogs or websites on the net.
Now multiply that by the number of newbies who think they have found the system to make tons of money with adsense, and you get an idea of just how many spammy sites are now on the net, coming on the net today, and for every day until google gets smart.
Just ran into another website that sells those cookie cutter adsense sites for 30 bucks!
With a nice way to get people to buy them and put them up.
Again, newbies will pay out the 30 bucks thinking they are getting a heck of a deal!

Sites like these can work, but it requries a lot of time for them to "seep" into the search engines and get any decent placing -- I'm thinking anywhere from 6 months to a year. Usually the people going for these type of sites are impatient and want to be millionaires the day after they put their spammy sites up. Google values age.

yep, they buy them on ebay then bitch that they are not making any money. Oh-well.

These types of sites are not looking for search engine traffic.
One so-called adsense expert who tells all to build hundreds of adsense sites, probably just like this one, advises to pick one good keyword per site and then use adword campaign.
Look carefully at the ads that are served up on adsense sites or on google's site.
Lots of them are just spammy sites.
Thought just blew into my mind!!!
By having adsense on our sites, are we helping this spam sites?
Are we at some point in time encouraging people to build hundreds of spam sites?

Sig goes first to our membership site.
Then to my niche products site.
Then to a sponsor's directory.
Then to an image hosting site.
Where is this build your own adsense empire?
Unless it is an ebook on the niche products site?

For these kinds of website peak success is to earn $5 after putting $100 in adwords.Otherwise balancing cost is braveness. :)

It is a product that does sell.
It is a product that our members want.
So what is your point?
You do not like ebooks?
Ebooks about adsense?
Or what?

It is a nice reading ebook that does help people understand adsense and how to start building an empire of sites with adsense.
Lots of people know nothing about adsense or how to monetize a website.

Thank you Iowa - for your info I DO like e-books and because this forum is basically here to help people I was looking for just such an answer before considering a purchase.
