I am using windows vista ultimate, i had tried so many times to install apache2triad, after install i point my browser to http://localhost but there is no activity.
How i can install apache2triad in my laptop, is there is version problem or anything else.
Please help to me to install it.

Have you checked in services to make sure apache was started already?

not sure, i follow all steps like as before on XP, but when i enter localhost in my browser it shows nothing there.

Hi I got this. Can you give it a shot?If the problem still exists, contact me. :)
"Download and install apache2triad1.5.4.exe from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=93507
then Download and install
http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/apache_2.2.4-win32-x86-o...
ensure you alter the install directory to c:/apache2triad (or whatever you chose in the first install)
You will get a Security warning about apache http server > say [Unblock]
finish install
small error message > [ok]
delete the shortcut [Monitor Apache Servers] in the all programs/start folder
reboot
IE > http://localhost/ >yellow bar > enable intranet settings"

Hey man try XAMPP ( http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html ) is the best tool to get Apache+Mysql+Php working with no work.
