Lowest Domain Transfer Fee

I have a .net domain expiring pretty soon from Namecheap. Their renewals are priced at $9~ . No coupons worked for the renewal. So I was thinking whether I could transfer it to a different registrar.

Which registrar offers the lowest transfers? GoDaddy says $8.2 (after their fee and stuff). Are there any coupons for decreasing their transfer price? Or any other registrar in mind?

PS - I know it doesn't make a big difference in terms of the amount saved, but money saved is money gained :)
