Say microsoft and yahoo do merge ... what do you think will be the deal?

Will they keep the two searches seperate?
Will they keep the two landing pages but keep only one behind the scenes algorithm for both?
If so, which will they keep?

At this point I don't think anyone knows, I know Microsoft stated their top priority is to merge search and search ad systems but no other details were given. I guess if Yahoo does come around to do a deal with Microsoft, I would think within 3 months most of the details would come out. Right now they want to get a deal done with Yahoo.

either way they look at it, their SE efforts together equal about a 20% market share, hardly worth caring about.

No one even knows what they would merge much less how they would do it. Anyone that says differently is full of it.
