The proudleduck page that SEBasic has on his blog is for a search engine optimization competition. The competition ends on the first of the year I think, and with only a few days to go before the end, he gets nixed. Bad break.

From the sounds of things it looks like it could be over optimization. I wonder if there's a Bad Neighborhood in the co-op somewhere that could also be setting any sort of flag? Hard to say. These are the only two instances I've seen thus far of the sites I somewhat follow thanks to this forum.

I think it was my bad really.

I put up a page of lorem ipsum and sdid a search and replace.

One of the problems are people with big mouths on the forums that have to post every little thing they know about DP.

Another problem is idiots that come here to steal Shawn's ideas, then ask stupid questions on how he does it, then go out to create clones of his stuff, pages, tools, co-op and come here to promote their crap to his members.

If I were Shawn I would not share any information with a soul and these stupid members that have done this crap to him will cost us all as he will start holding back in sharing with us because of some idiots that really have no class and have big mouths.

That is the way I see it and I have never held back on telling stuff to members even though I do realize that a lot of the stuff I share have and may continue to hurt me.

I really don't care, but I think Shawn does and some members here have hurt him with big mouths and stealing his ideas, then publicizing these things on his forum and then he gets screwed for giving to the community by the community.

Shawn has given a us a great deal and there are a lot of unscrupulous 'members' and lurkers that are jealous of Shawn's success and are either trying to copy it or sabotage it. I think Shawn has done a great job in finding ways to be successful on the internet. I think he has done a great job of helping others be successful as well. Those that are too weak minded or just don't have any concern for anyone but themselves, have brought upon all of us, these problems. I love this forum (most of the time) and I love the coop (even though I don't have a boatload of weight). I won't participate in another 'coop' and I won't steal or directly copy anything Shawn has done. What I will do is look at how something was done and try to recreate the success on my own. That's called learning and applying the knowledge learned. That's what DP is about, not ripping someone off.
