Website Help Please

I am going to build a website for a friend but I dont want to maintain it. I want to set it up then have some script or template that he can use to log in then change the text or add pics. He does not know enough about website to ftp and upload that way. I was wondering if anyone know of a free script or software that will help me out?

I have seen some people use blogs to look like websites, and just update pages. Easy templates with database!

yes the best is wordpress.. look at my sig what you can make with it..
is easy to use the admin panel and you can customize it very good

use a good CMS: Drupal, Joomla ... or even WordPress
