This is my newest site:
http://www.fantasyfootballjungle.com/
If anybody would like to check it out please do. I am new to website building and the only way I can improve is with some constructive critisism. I also made my first php/mysql pages on this page: http://www.fantasyfootballjungle.com/y/2004-nfl-draft/challenge/login.htm
You can login with User Name: guest, password: guest to check it out. Let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Ryan

Nice site, very easy to read with a good layout. If I were you I would add sports betting banners or google ad sense.

There is Google AdSense on the right side (at least for me).

Thanks for checking out the site. I hate the fastclick ad at the top of the page and would like to get rid of it, in favor of ads like I have on the following page: http://www.fantasyfootballjungle.com/y/2004-nfl-draft.htm.
I am really just experimenting with a few different types of ads, but I prefer the look of the NFL draft pages. Sports betting would probably be better than NetZero... I will look into that. Thanks for the advice.. keep it coming :-)

Just curious if you are you getting any sort of revenue from the fastclick ads?

The banner ads are horible; they are annoying and they don't pay well (about .40-CPM). The rectangles do a little better (about 1.5-CPM), although still quite annoying. I think the affiliates will end up being the best because they give more appropriate ads and they let the site layout stay more appealing. Maybe a mixture of Google ads and affiliates is the best way to go. I'm still learning!

Yeah, that's probably your best bet... that's what I do on the web based tools at digitalpoint.com... I never show more than one ad, and about 50% of the time it's AdSense, and the other 50% of the time it's an affiliate banner ad for things my target audience would like. It's been working pretty well so far...

http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&newwindow=1&safe=off&client=googlet&q=and+site%3Awww.fantasyfootballjungle.com&btnG=Google+Search
shows
Searched pages from www.fantasyfootballjungle.com for and. Results 1 - 100 of about 191.
means google knows 191 pages ( that contain the word "and" ) from your entire site.
a repeated attempt to crawl your site ended in a loop OR similar near endliess condition of webcheck bot
resulting in may be hundreds ( i aborted after a while ) of error msgs like:
adding url: http://www.fantasyfootballjungle.com/forums/privmsg.php?folder=inbox&sid=db074b8d2b0b3d3490a8473bc9d2fcca
Error: Malformed URL?

NOW all these above pages are as it seems to be valid login page-URLs
but the problem is
the bot is searching and searching for HOURS ( once i let it run almost all night - may be some 6-8 hrs on your site - without ending / without any output by the bot ... hence IF there is any other page LATER on after all these access controlled pages
...
then googlebot or others may never reach that point.
there was no visible loop - however a never ending crawl ... without ANY output at all !
if you look with the top links given @ google's result and WHAT page google KNOWS from you
then you see obviously ONLY .HTM files / pages are in google data base .
thats fine IF all other files are of internal use only and no value to surfers or SE.
there ARE php sites that i have been FULLY crawling ..
i hope this helps you for your site and SEO

Huh? Weird, the links to my forum pages have a big sid code attached to the URL. I assume that is a session ID that logs me in automaticaly. After I get into the 2nd page the ID is dropped. Does this mean my forum pages will not get indexed? When I get onto the DP forums I don't have a sid number. Hans, thank you for pointing this out to me and spending so much time reviewing mine and those other websites, which you also reviewed. I am not sure how to fix this problem. If anyone has more insight into this I would certainly appreciate it.
