Is there link checking tool available?

I have recently got someone to submitt my site to 500 social bookmarking sites, wondering if there is a tool available that could show me those links if they were active or not.

I am new to this, any help will be great.

I like yahoo's site explorer a lot. they report (IMO) the majority of the inbound links a site has. it also includes links that have "nofollow" on them. good tool to use to spy on your competition:p

check all links manually, thats the best way to verify all links

You can check it easily with Link Diagnosis Firefox plugin. See link in my signature. It has received lots of positive feedback (e.g. http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/016125.html) and people love it.
