Nice. But, imo, it's still unsure if the price is gonna go high up like for the .coms.

Personally, I'm not investing in them, I don't really see much potential in the short term & would rather put my money somewhere else with better growth.

I think there's more promise in the LLLLL.com market to be honest, bought one here a week or two back, princely sum of $12 - instantly put it back up here and got an offer within an hour or so of $80.00 which I still think was a bargain.
LLLL.net names, hmmmmmm ok the real premium ones I can understand, but not every combination of non premium letters, I don't think they'll enjoy this same sudden burst of activity that the the .coms have enjoyed recently.
Who knows though, domaining is an odd business, with a mind it seems often, of it's own.
Time will tell I guess.

I wouldn't invest a great deal in LLLL.net yet. It took years for LLLL.com to get registered and the .NET market is no where near the .COM currently.

Exactly agree with Duncan.
And LLLL.com like 25 million combos... Impossible.
LLLL.com last one to do this. So it's still got long way to go.

We need about 1 or 2 years to make .net is popular like .com

Well I get the feeling that ccc.nets are being picked up for cheap as they have a better chance of going up in value. Also there are non of them available for registration as of now.
It was the same with 3 character .coms. They were sold for $50-60 3 years back. Now none of them go under $300-350 I suppose.
Unless all 4l .nets and .orgs are taken (which I believe will take some time) the value of .nets will remain on the lower side.
The market for l-l.nets n-n.nets and .coms are growing steadily.

The situation with LLLL.net is shaky. Whether anyone says it is a bad or good investment is simply stating their opinion. I've had this discussion with 4-5 people in the last week and if anyone here is running a scanner and seeing what's been going on behind the scenes you would understand where a majority of these posters are coming from. It may seem like a bad investment RIGHT NOW, but in a year you might be kicking yourself for not picking any up.
I've personally not been reg'in LLLL.net except for the really good ones. Picked up some on the secondary market through e-mails and am happy/satisfied with what I have. Better safe than sorry... we see these LLLL.com selling for $50-$60... but 2-4 months ago they could've been bought for $6.95. This is simply from a domainers point of view. People here are mainly looking for a quick flip--20$ profit--and move on. Others are buying the *nice* domains for good prices NOW and waiting for them to appreciate. Domains are a virtual commodity.... what can run out will appreciate given the supply and demand. .COM vs .NET is something that's always discussed. Average Joe might take DIRT.net for $10,000 and be happy instead of DIRT.com for $1,000,000. If there's money to possibly be made, why the hell not.
Just watch the scans. Picking up 5-10 for reg fee might not hurt if you can find decent ones with premium letters right now. I'm by no means promoting LLLL.net... everyone can invest at their own risk. I'm just simply trying to make a point.

I was thinking the same thing with LLLL.com.
Hell, seriously, if you're going to start picking at these LLLL go at it smart. Do something with the site just so you can at least make back reg fee. I have on LLLL.net that took it two months to make its reg fee and is now in profits. It's only making pennies, but while I'm holding it as an investment at least it paid itself off!
And if you are getting ZERO TRAFFIC to a name for a month and have NO CLUE what to do with it, create a custom search engine on it!

I see a potential in LLLL.Net
Probably, in the end of 2008 the price of good LLLL.net will be at least 5-10*regfee
So, if You have premium LLLL.net - i think it is good investment

Forget about LLLL.net. Rather save up your money and go for a prounciable LLLL.com. LLLL.net will be worth 10 times less so the renewal fee is going to be a much bigger burden on it.
Would you rather hold 1 prounciable LLLL.com and pay 7 bucks renewal fee or like hold .net and pay 70 per year. So many .net will drop when their year comes around and it will not be all taken. It's just going to rebound and LLLL.com will take another spike in a year or so when LLLL.net fails.

I put this thread in my G calender for next year. It will be interesting to see how many drop.... I think I would probably be a buyer.
Do a scan to see who the largest holders of LLLL.net's are... They aren't light weights..
