All My SMF Packages Are Labeled Corrupted -- How to upload SMF packages?

I signed up for Simple Machines yesterday, and I'm trying to customize my forum which is currently here: http://juicedsportsblog.com/forums

I downloaded a bunch of packages. I'm using Mac OS X, and it automatically decompresed them when they downloaded, so I had to archive them to get them back to zip. But, when I uploaded the zips to my site, it said that they couldn't be uploaded because they were either the wrong format or corrputed.

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I know I am the latest version, so that can't be the problem.

I suggest that before you use any MOD you try it first in a test forum site where you can do anything whatever you want without fear of inflicting damage to an already established forum site.
