Well, I just went to login to AdCenter (http://adcenter.msn.com) and noticed that there was a notice that today and tomorrow (until 6pm PST) are open signup days, where you can get an account without waiting for an invite :) They snuck this one up on me, I didn't hear a peep, and it wasn't on the blog. I know a few (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=61964)were still looking for accounts.

Still for advertisers; nothing for publishers yet. :(

I think you'll be waiting a while yet for publishers... after all, what good is a publisher program if there aren't enough ads in inventory for publishers to display :)

grrrrr!!!!

MSN adCenter does not currently support the web browser you are using. Please sign in using Internet Explorer 6. More about system requirements

There not supporting the Mac IE browser any more, and they suggest we use Firefox...yet they don't support it!!!! grrr!!!!

For us Mac users, even with IE 5.2 for Mac...you get that error!!! Microsoft stinks!!!!

The 'More about system requirements' link doesn't even work!!!

Have any of you Mac users figured out a way to get in?!!

If you have not received an invitation to try MSN adCenter, please check back at a later time. MSN adCenter will be available for public use in the near future.

Bad Luck here :(

Thank you for contacting MSN adCenter Support, my name is Jodi. I
understand that you are seeking information about making adCenter
accessible to Apple users. Currently we do not support Apple systems.
The basic requirements for MSN adCenter are:

-A working Internet connection.

-Microsoft Windows 98 or a later version of Microsoft Windows installed.
-Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6.x

However, I have submitted a request with Microsoft, on your behalf,
notifying them that there are customers who are interested in being able
to use adCenter with Apple computers.

grrr!!!!

Can you just set your web browser to spoof the user agent as being IE6?

Here is a user agent switcher for Firefox, Flock, Mozilla and Seamonkey: http://chrispederick.com/work/useragentswitcher/

And yes, it support OS X.

Microsoft Windows 98 or a later version of Microsoft Windows installed.

It's more than the browser. It has to be a broken, virus/spyware infected Windows computer!! grrr!!!!!

That's also part of the user agent string (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_agent).

And even when you do get to sign-up... you're doing business with Microsoft.

These are the type of folks who, after you shake their hands, you have to count your fingers.

At Mix06, the adCenter team said during their session that Mac support, IE7, and other browser support is a priority. Just not sure how long it will take for priority to become reality though.

Also, I noticed the last adCenter open signup by the notice on the adCenter login page, so if you are really eager, you can watch that page :p
