Adding a lot of content to word press or Joomla fast

Hello. I am trying to setup a site, and will need to add a bunch of articles fast.

Does anyone know of a program that will let me type articles without being in a browser? I looked at xblogg for Joomla but wasn't able to get it to work.

Also - does anyone know of a good way to handle reviews and user submitted content?

Have you install the blogg-x mambots in your joomla program after you install the blogg-x program?
