View Full Version : Which CMS should I use?

Hi!
I am interested to find a CMS that is good for membership site - something that is probably more than forums (they have forums and something more) and probably user profiles where they can comment.. I wonder if there is a CMS that can do this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have used Joomla for this on several sites. I havent used Community Builder, an extension for Joomla, but it sounds like that is what you're looking for.

yeah i think joomla is nice..
and they have many nicer templates :)

If you want to build a community site than drupal is the way to go.

If you want to build a community site than drupal is the way to go.
Do you have any links that show any social networking communities built with drupal? I'm also looking was thinking of using Joomla as well

Although, not open source Community Server is also a great product. There's a video on the site that talks about what's coming with their 2008 version. Looks impressive.
