Yahoo! Search Index Update-2008

Hi,

Recently on 22nd Yahoo has announced the first Search Index Update for 2008. According to Sharad Verma from Yahoo Search, Yahoo has been rolling out some changes to their crawling, indexing and ranking algorithms over the last few days. He also told that update will be completed soon and as a result people may see some ranking changes and page shuffling in the index.

While I have not seen a huge traffic increase from Yahoo - went from around 400 a day in early Jan to about 600 a day now - my pages indexed went from 25,725 to 62,964 in like 2 days

Big G still brings in around 6K a day

hopefully after this they will stop updating their stuff... my ads have been pending for a long time and i cant get my ads up!
