Hi Everyone -

We have 3 site that average 15,000 page views a day (together), and periodically gets Digg traffic spikes that bring the server to its knees. We are using ExpressionEngine and have all types of caching enabled, so I'm thinking it has something to do with the Apache or MySQL configuration settings.

FYI - The server is a dedicated box with Liquidweb, and the following specs:

- Dual Xeon E5310 Quad Core (Clovertown) - 8 cores total, 1.6GHZ per core
- 2GB RAM
- Dual 120GB SATA / Hardware Raid 1

I don't have access to the httpd.conf at the moment, but will get that information out to you ASAP. In the meantime, does anyone have any idea of what might be the problem?

Thanks in advance!

-Doug
