My site get top 10 on yahoo search with 401,000,000 result.

Can everybody talk it good or not?

But on google can't find where???

Yahoo ranks sites different than google. You should work on what google likes more than yahoo because they get more traffic.

Yahoo can still make you a lot of money, but nothing compared to what Google sends. Work on making your site better and building links. Invest the money you make into the site.

Top 10 on yahoo is also a good ranking but if it was in google, I'm sure you can have more traffic.

Top 10 on yahoo is ok, but nothing compared to being top 10 on google. Backlinks and etc should help. See what your site gets on www.websitegrader.com and maybe that should give some helpful hinters!

Well said, getting rank in Google is important. I am ranked #1-3 for many keywords in MSN - hardly any traffic. Yahoo was sending decent traffic for the time I was on page ONE. Now my site is no where.

Doesn't really matter how many search results there are. What really matters is how many people are searching for that keyword or phrase and the quality of traffic that brings to your website.

Yahoo gives more importance to the keywords in your domain name and title. Whereas Google gives importance to relevant backlinks with keywords in the anchor text of the backlinks.

For example I have a brand new site - authenticpaidsurveys.com - It ranks no. 1 for the keyword 'authentic paid surveys' in Yahoo, but it is nowhere in Google now for that keyword. Only when I start adding relevant backlinks with the anchor text like 'authentic paid surveys', it will start moving up in Google for that keyword.

Great your site is in top in yahoo results.:D

But, both yahoo and google has different ranking criteria, So, you have have to work for getting ranking in google.

well for me its good but not good enough as google top serp
one of my site got around 10 times more visitors from google more than yahoo so yahoo is a good source for visitors but not as google in the end if ur site is on top 10 on yahoo i think u will get good traffic if it was powerfull keyword

Well, that is still good but it's very good if you can achieve at least top 3 on yahoo. I think you have a good content but less backlinks. Google can't find your site because of lack of backlinks.

Yahoo likes domain names/ URLs with keywords in them more. My feeling is it also gives more weight to any link you get whereas Google is a bit more choosy. Keep building good backlinks for ranking in Google.

I'm still not totally clear on the differences between Google and Yahoo.

If I use SEO for Firefox plugin, it reports that one of my sites has 24,700 Yahoo backlinks. What benefit is that if Yahoo focuses on content?
