Yahoo Directory - Effects on SERPs

Just submitted my site to Yahoo Directory last Saturday & got this in my email today:

And boy, that was fast too!

Anyway, since I am a VERY impatient person, does anyone know how fast after being added to the directory the SERP's in Yahoo & Google are affected? I am assuming it is faster in Yahoo, but would just like an idea.

Mainly because I am on like page 10-12 in Yahoo for my KW phrases and pretty much nowhere in Google listings (I already emailed Google and got a reply back that I have not been banned or penalized - however I think I may be sandboxed).

Right now pretty much all my 'free' traffic comes from MSN & through other websites/directories where I am listed that are pulling up high in Yahoo & Google.

Any clue how long?

In my experience a Yahoo directory listing is like being listed in any other directory. THere is nothing special to it and it will not spead up the rate your website is indexed.

My website is already indexed - has been for about 6 months. Just wondering how long it will take for it to bring me up higher in the search engines. I notice that most of the websites listed in the first page or two in Yahoo for my targeted keywords are listed in the directory.

Apparently there is a big boost for being listed in the Yahoo Directory, and rightly so.
