Does anyone use the Yahoo site explorer badge on their site(s)? Here is the link if you do not know what I am talking about - https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/badge
I ask because I have it running on a couple of site and like the idea, but it never seems accurate. If anyone has any experiences I would love to hear about them as Yahoo will never respond to me about it.

I do use it - you can see it here at Discover Directory (http://www.discoverdirectory.com). It may show there are 5k to 6k of back links, but when you click on the badge it shows that their are actually more than 14k links to the site - that is where I was confused.

It depends if you choose to see the backlinks from your own site, that`s why the number is different

Well, I have used it earlier.. It's good to show your BLs on your site with Yahoo badge if you have good no. of BLs.

Why would any visitors care about the number of backlinks that you have? I see this being useful only on directories and blogs that sell links.
