Well.... I'm not going to show off my SERPS it just draws attention and makes people want to copy my KW's..... but let's just say age of links has little to no value.

The most important factors are:

1) age of domain
2) natural looking links (no site-wide bullshit)
3) anchor text

Stuff that is mostly shitty webmaster hype:

1) age of links
2) title tags
3) KW in URL
4) KW density
5) linking with related sites

Can I assume that you want to make sure that "anchor text" is relevant to your KWs and site content?

You have got to be kidding me. I am the SEO for a MAJOR chain of websites (5 Million Rev) a year. I manage websites in different industries and lets just say that I know that the "Techniques" you said don't work are actually just as important then the ones you said are important.

Lot of the so called "SEO experts" have great success at getting people to the top, but unfortunately, its for search terms that have few searches.

-Age of links doesn't matter. I have several sites on the first in Google for several large KW's and most of the links are less than 4 months old.

-Title tags are not as important as you would think. I have a site in the SEO contest going on right now... I'm on the first page with no KW's in the title tags. So why didn't I add the KW in the title tags???? b/c of people like you that are brainwashed. ;)

Not to discredit smindsrt, however depending on how you go about your link campaign, having keywords in your URL is very important in my opinion. Alot of webmasters link to you using your site name. Think about all the good linkage you could be missing by not having important keywords in your URL.

Also smindsrt, would you say the age of the domain is most important even if the domain wasn't indexed in google for a long time after registration?
