I'm just starting to use Google's conversion tracking for Adwords. I have two really basic questions:

1. Do I need to change any of the destination URL's for my ads to trigger the tracking? Or is the cookie inserted automatically by Google when the user clicks my ad?

2. Regarding the code that I put on the "thank you" page, can I use the same code for different campaigns?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You don't have to change you destination URL. (cookie is inserted)
You can put the same code on your "thank you" page. I do it myself without problems.

Good luck

Yes, you can use the same code for a entire account and multiple campaigns.

If you don't want to share your conversion data with Google, you might want to consider generating your own tracking URLs (http://marketingnewsblog.adwordstraining.org/node/38)
