I know 1-888 is a popular (freephone??) telephone number in the US so may be quite good for SEO but does .org remove all it's value?

I'm not from the US so don't know much about 1-888, but if it's a freecall number, then the name might have some value.

Agree with Chronodev. It will make a good 1-800 phone directory
