No impressions no clicks in 3 hours whats up?

Im currently running 2 campaigns on adwords but for more than 3 hours i havent seen any difference from the campaign summary, no impressions no clicks no nothing! I just joined adwords today! Is that normal? Whats the typical time for my ads to start showing? Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

sometimes it takes the reporting a while to update.

when you hover over your magnifying glass beside your keyword, what does it say?

That can tell you whats going on sometimes

Try to check again tomorrow. Sometimes results can be a bit late. If still no impressions there is something wrong with your settings/keywords etc.

check if you ads are active.. go to ad diagonistic tool in the Tools section or place you mouse over the magnifying glass near the keyword..

It takes about day or two for Google to review your account, if you are a new member.
