Lets talk about the link attribute called nofollow

google started this a few months ago per the blog here:

I just noticed that yahoo is adding nofollow to yahoo answers too.

I have a forum to and I am worried about link spam, but dp is not. Is this because dp is so big? or because the links are okay no matter what? Honestly I think we will get so paranoid no links will be shared and the web will die because we are too afraid.to link

What do you think?

i think there is not that many bad apples here
just wonder if PR will pass if there is a nofollow, or just bot won't visit the site
i answer some question in yahoo answer and put link of my site as refrence. However, it doesn't show up when i do a "link:myurl" in yahoo, msn and google

Well certainly yes... whats the use of it is quite not understandable... google can find link spammers very easily.. they have got the reaources... they have got the brain power as well as the machine power... then whats the use of not pasing the link vote(pr).... well this certainly would kill... One of the reasons i can think of is that they want you to work more harder to search of possible 'quality' link partners... to get to the top...

Well we ... people at DP dont fear of hard work I suppose.....
