Has anyone else run into this problem, is it easy to get the other persons listing removed??? The domain has been in my godaddy account for a couple of months now, I even purchased the whois privacy on it!

was it a dropped domain? this maybe the old owner and he/che never took it off the listing on sedo.
if you are planning to sell/park the domain on SEDO you can send them and email letting asking them to remove it, they will verify ownership and it is done

its an llll.com that was regged in 05 and never dropped, switched hands a few times in the past couple months. I purchased it from a highly respected member here, and I clearly own it. Ill send an email thanks for the replies! Im not looking to sell it or list it, Im trying to build it and dont want any complications in the mean time...

I had this problem once, you need to contact sedo and let them know your or new the real owner, they will require some validation.

Just as an update, first thing this morning sedo removed the listing after just a single email a few days ago. Thanks for replies ;)

I'm actually guilty of forgetting to remove domains from Sedo once I've disposed of them (sold or dropped) - it's easy to forget about...

I also placed winning bid on such a domain on sedo and got screwed up on transaction fee by the Sedo guys when they chose to send a new payment instead of "refunding" on my payment I sent using PayPal. Lost $37.5! My experience with Sedo has not been good. They didn't reply to my mails for days.

Sorry to hear that ...apparently quite a few people have had some problems with sedo apparently I got lucky that my situation was resolved so quickly!
