images.google.com referrers, but no images indexed?

My Google Analytics reports currently show a very small trickle of referrals from images.google.*** (com, de, ca, co.uk, co.in, es, ru).

However, when I search for my site in google images "site:mysite.com" I get no results... not a single one.

Any idea what other people are seeing that I'm not? and how?
