Hi
I registered a while back but for some reason I didn't stick around.
I found my way back this week and am amazed at the quality SEO information being shared. I am going to make this forum my first stop.

Welcome!
So, are you a new user as well as an old user or do you mean your bones have many year rings, like Anthony's and Compar's?

I am an old registrant, but a new user.
Is it possible that the forum as improved since April?

Design-wise it got a new colour.
Functionality-wise it has some new quick-links tools.
Quality-wise it has over 2,500 like-minded users, willing to share everything they know.
We have recently seen a HUGE influx of coop network related questions (of which 80% are repeat questions) which make sit a bit messy but I'm sure that will subside again soon.
We've seen the first bans, an inevitable evil that had to come one day. We've seen some dubious posts slagging off other users but all of it seemed to have made this forum mature. It has less posts on high-tech SEO nowadays it seems but it definitely is the #1 source for SEO/SEM. PMing the right people can sort out a lot of your problems too.

Digital Point is not just a forum, but a portal with many tools, you seem to have missed the boat, good that you jumped back on for your own sake ;)

Its funny, I have used the Digital Point keywrod tracker almost every day for the last 10 months but I have never noticed a link to the forum.

I wouldn't say that's funny... More worrying!
There's quite a distinctive box on the right hand side:
Recent Forum Topics
We share ad revenue with users
Weight 1 to 5
how does page views factor into weight?
PR5 is PR4 now?
Shouldn't we all take care of it?
I can´t validate my site
If you haven't seen that in the last 10 months... your vision could perhaps do with a check-up! :)

Well you have missed a lot, fun and education, but you can be thankful that all the threads are still here.
Use the search function to find threads that have keywords that you are interested in so you can get caught up to speed.
Have fun.

I had to look again, twice, to see it. Is it possible that my mind subconsciously ignores little boxes that look like ads? Maybe ask minstrel about that.
It probably wouldn't hurt to have it in the menu, as I have wondered up and down the menu quite a few times.

I have to admit, it can be a bit chaotic at times. And on my old CTR monitor, I couldn't even see the brown text on black in the left hand meny. All black on my screen.
And yes, this forum could be classified as a 'free tool' and have it's own entry in the nav bar, I agree.

Must be invisible to mere mortals Tops, because I don't know what the hell you are talking about, "a little box"?

Its a little blue table titled "Recent Forum Topics" on the keyword tracker. You must be disregarding it in your mind (advertising). Keep looking, you will see it eventually.

Stop crying AC and read what the Canadian said.
He indicated he was on the KWT for 10 months. Then I say: THERE is a box.

I don't want to have to read the whole thread to get what you are saying in the future TOPSeo.
Leave a link next time, I did not shed a tear but wasted about 5 minutes trying to figure out what you were talking about. :p ;)

No go I'm afraid.
When posting a reply one should be able to assume participants in the thread are aware of the subject of conversation. That's the end of it.
Sorry! :)

Thats great! This is definitely a great place to find quality websites of all sorts. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! We are currently in the process of adding a whole lot more templates, so its a bit crazy around here!

I agree about the menu. If I'm in the kw tracker, I have to use a bookmark to get to the forums since it's not on the menu to choose from. Not a big deal since I have it in my menu bar, but for new users, it would be good to have it in the left side menu.
