During the weekdays my earnings are quite low with a good number of clicks etc.
The weekend is a straight different thing. Same or even less clicks but double earnings.
I wish I could find out why :(

It really depends on the type of site you have. Some advertisers convert better on weekends, so they up their campaign on the weekends. You may also have a different type of visitor on the weekends who are more apt to click on a different (higher paying) ad. There are also statistical fluctuations.
Generally, the weekends have less traffic for my sites which is due to people not surfing from work on a broadband connection.

this one is about cell phones.
it's getting steady traffic no matter what day it. the weekends are even more busy than the weekdays

I've experienced that too.
I think it has something to do with the fact that Advertisers want to have more visitors on their site, because people, in the weekend, have more time to actually use the internet more extensively. That's not the case when they're at work, cause then they would have other things to do.
Then again, it's just a guess.

My understanding is that advertisers bid higher on the weekends because there are more competiton for ad space, and weekends have less competition for ad space, thus lower bids. Why? It's probably the same as why ads cost more in the afternoon and less at night. The advertisers think that's where their customer base is -- on the weekdays and in the afternoon, so as a result you see higher revenues focused there on a daily basis.

jackburton2006: the revenue is higher on the weekends
the weekdays are quite poorly paid
My initial post for double earnings on weekends was even a dream. Weekdays get paid 10X + less

so here comes the weekend. Let's see if this one will be the same as the last one...
I hope so
