It's not 10,000 on the tools in general... just the KW tracker. :) There are lots of people that use the others but not the KW tracker. But yeah... that's a pretty big landmark I think... heh

Here are some stats for ya...

10,002 users, tracking 209,236 keywords and back links for 24,073 sites right now.

Since it was started, averaging 40 new users per day (growth is accelerating though, and averaging 58 per day over last 2 months).

Approximately 1,500 new keywords added per day on average.

Brought Alexa rating (http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=digitalpoint.com) from 120,000 to sub-1,000 (and still dropping).

Added another dedicated web server just for the keyword tracker on Jan 1.

In use by users from 109 countries (based on IP address geotargetting).

GUI works in 23 languages (1,134 users use it in something other than English).

All I really wanted was something to track my own personal keywords... hehe

Congratulations! That's really awesome. I know I'd be lost without the kw tracking tool. Thanks, dude! :)

Congrats. Is there anyway to tell what number I was when I signed up?

Not that you can see... there is a unique ID assigned internally (for relational database purposes) which started at #1 (which was me). You are #2,583.

Wow, that's a lot fo people/users. Some good solid growth numbers too. Sounds like more impresive growth than all these e-mails I get everyday ... :P
OK that was a lame joke.

HEY ... at the risk of starting a me-too game, I'm just curious where I was in the signup order? Or maybe post the entire list so other people don't ask the same annoying question like I am here! ;-)

Thanx,
alek

Couldn't you market this tool to Google?

They seem to be an approachable company (well they seem like that in press!).

You could be a potential dot com millionaire (I'll take 10% for suggesting you do this! ;))

digitalpoint

{lol} Why would Google pay for something they could create themselves if they really wanted to?

I know what you mean.

I'm so used to having it my disposal that when Shawn decides to start charging us for it I'll have no choice but to hand over the credit card # :D

(J/K - Shawn has said numerous times he doesn't plan to charge for the tool, but if he did I for one would pay - it's worth it)

I'll have to disagree with you there - I have tried to pay Shawn for couple of things and wouldn't take my $ :D

Well, I guess Im thinking of myself... lol. I honestly wouldn't mind paying a monthly fee- something Shawn may want to think about. (even at .99 a month he'd make thousands..)

Not worth the money to do it, and even if I wanted to, Google does not allow commercial apps with the Google API.

What about a Paypal donation button on the application? Can't remember if you've got one there.

Of course, we all appreciate Shawn's hard work.

No, sorry... not looking for donations.

Not sure why people want me to take their money... :)

P.S. Maybe have a picture of the DP Golden Arches saying "XX Billion hits served" ;-)
