International Routing Code and SWIFT Code for HDFC India

Hello,
I just contacted my branch and they gave me a number something like this
HDFCINBBCAL and said it will act as International Routing Code as well as SWIFT Code.
Is that so?
I need to put it in my Escrow account.

Yes, SWIFT code is some thing like that. For routing , ask their correspondent bank information.
