After being exposed to the forum posting buyers and sellers over the last two years, I've seen many rise and fall. One particular site that has been tried and true is Forum Booster (http://www.forumbooster.net/). They've got a trial for like Five bucks :).

If you want to hire a small team, I've currently opened a thread offering my posting services (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=626645). I've plenty of experience in the field. Hope this helps! :)

If you search around the forum you should be able to find a few off-shore companies offering cheap posting. I've tried a few and it worked out OK. Overall a good method to start your forum with, but don't count on it doing much. My preferred method is to spread the postings over a extended amount of time, this way your board doesn't go to sleep.

I would also try social networking bookmarking sites for some added traffic, you might get a few registrations out of it with little work. If you want to track the progress, check the link out in my SIG.

Its difficult to give you honest feedback because of the possibility of retaliation from posters who haven't done good work. Lately I have had good forum posting experiences though, although I don't use this type of service very often.
