Darn.. I put in a niche content site thats PR6 on the home page, and PR5 on the approx 20 sub pages, DMOZ links, etc.. and my weight is in the mid 200's :(

I shudder to think how some of your have xx,xxx weight. Good job! Looks like the co-op might be a little too big for me.

The co-op isn't too big for anyone imo. My site has a weight of 252 as well =P.

I'll keep it going for a couple weeks, see if helps at all. Great idea, just not sure the weighting forumla is effective for my properties. Kudos to the programmers tho, digitalpoint has loads of really effective tools.

Haven't you ever heard the expression it's not the quantity but the quality?

The same goes for the coop. I've got one site that has a 23. One has 235; and one has 180.

Stick with it; and add pages.

For sure I'll stick with it for a bit. I've always been against adding pages just for the sake of SEO, or peppering my content with adsense keywords.

Also, to have an impact on serps, my ads will have to shown at the same time a spider visits right? so the chances are kinda slim for my 2xx weight isn't it?

I'd be curious to see if the other < 1K weight co-op partners are seeing measurable results.

It's slim, but it will and does happen. People with higher weights are giving more links and are therefore getting more links. The odds of your site showing up and getting links goes up with your weight, but not exponentially... even with a weight of 10, you're bound to get several links back overtime, it just may take longer than if you have a weight of 10,000... Keep in mind as well, the sites with the larger weight are also probably adding new content on a daily (or hourly, or minutely) basis, so their pages are spidered a lot more often, giving you a higher likelihood of getting a link in there every once and a while.

Don't feel bad, I have a weight of "0" on all the sites I have listed thus far. Not sure what exactly determines my overall weight. I have a PR6 site with 4,100 pages I am gonna through the ads on.. I guess we will see what that does.

That should give you a pretty decent weight. Prob lookin at 10-20k weight.

PR6 & 4100 pages should be more than that even, if you run 5 ads/page...

Should be over 40,000.
